The personal website presents Zackery’s released writing and selected photographs. A visitor’s browser drafts do not become public automatically.
What stays on your device
Reading preferences, interview answers, draft transcripts, and Writer’s Desk entries use browser storage. They are not encrypted private vaults, do not sync between devices, and may disappear when site data is cleared. Export backups after writing. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to read local drafts.
What the author publishes
Authorized publication sends selected story fields to Cloudflare’s database and makes them public. Optional sensory prompts and local drafts are excluded. Published revisions may remain readable. Withdrawal removes a story and its revision record from public endpoints; it cannot recall copies already downloaded by other people or search engines.
Hosting and providers
Cloudflare hosts the site and can process ordinary connection and security information. The site has no advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Self-hosted fonts do not contact Google Fonts.
Optional Facebook embeds and dictation
Facebook content loads only when you choose to embed a public video. Facebook then processes that visit under its own policies. Optional browser speech recognition requests microphone permission and may send audio to the browser provider. It does not capture a Facebook broadcast automatically.
Other people’s privacy
Do not place private third-party, child, medical, financial, credential, or protected institutional information into a public chapter. Requests about a published story should identify the page and the issue without resending sensitive details.
