A LIVING MEMOIR · ZACKERY C. MILLER
A Memoir of a Boy to a Man
An unfolding first-person record. From the beginning Zackery chooses to describe, through the memories he carries today, to the man he continues becoming. Read the words as they enter the public record. Return when they change.
Author-led, developing work · Personal memories, other testimony and verified events are distinguished.
PROLOGUE · THE ORIGIN
Zackery chooses to begin the memoir at conception. The opening holds the origin he wants to explore beside the earliest impressions he has described.
“Starting from conception. The memory of Meatloaf on audio my mom rocking out.”
Zackery, direct author statement, October 15, 2026.
His later words identify the album and distinguish the visual memory:
“Bat out of Hell 1977. I remember the guitar riffs.”
“The cover when I could crawl. The motorcycle. The Bats.”
These are the author's recollections. He places seeing the cover in his crawling-age period. The music memory has no independently established date or prenatal origin. The full scene will remain his to write.
The album and musician are referenced in the account. No commercial recording, cover artwork, or lyrics are reproduced.
